Vehicle Description This running/driving, numbers matching 1961 Chevrolet Corvette convertible has had the same owner for over 36 years.
It has the original 283ci (230hp 4bbl carb) small block Chevy V8 backed by the original 2 speed Powerglide and original rear axle.
It comes equipped with dual exhaust, chrome headlight bezels, front bucket seats, quadruple headlights, chromed door sills, side spears, argent silver grill, three-spoke steering wheel, chrome trim, fender-mounted antenna, Chevrolet lettering across the hood, lap belts, chrome hub caps, Corvette-branded wheel cover spinners, and a full-size spare tire fitted in the trunk.
Amenities include sun shades, a dash-mounted rearview mirror, seat divider/glove box, ashtray, lighter, AM/FM radio, and an analog clock in the center of the dashboard.
This is an extremely original example with fantastic patina and is the last year that used the 283ci engines in a C1.
This is a good driver that has served well the past 36 years.
Unfortunately the owner passed away and its time for the family to sell.
This is a good cruiser as is or a perfect example to take to the next level.
